History: Ever since she was born, Mei had been brought up to learn about magic. When she was 12, she met Daolon Wong, who happened to study dark magic. She found that interesting, so she began to research it as well. Over time, the two fell in love, and Daolon proposed to her when she was 19 (with that necklace she always wears). But just a few days before they were to be married, dark chi had completely corrupted his heart, and he could barely remember her, let alone all the feelings he had for her. Mei, devastated by this, couldn't focus on her spell that night and it backfired, turning her into a black egret. She stayed like this for many years until Drago's defeat ("The Powers That Be Part 2"). Now all she wants is to return to her life before the transformation.
